Innovating for a Global Palate Since 2015

Looking west on Second Street, Pomona, California. A well-balance city, 28 miles from Los Angeles, famed for orange groves, “snowcapped” Old Baldy fine homes, churches, schools and business center.

Pomona took a downturn and many of the businesses closed and buildings were boarded up. In 2001, The Abboud family bought a property and fell in love with the Downtown Owners Association DPOA.

In 2005, Abboud picked to elected official and the city manager, the idea of a restaurant and entertainment row to help bring the foot traffic and improve the Downtown economy. In the next ten years, the Abboud Family built four restaurants and and brought in operators to open shops and run other venues in Downtown Pomona.

Metro Ale House & Event Center was proposed to the city council in 2006-2007, engineered in 2008-2009, completed by 2010 and was not able to open till 2015. It is the largest restaraunt venue, at approx. 20,000 square feet, with 4 levels, restaurant/ Gasto Pub, Lounge & Banquet Facility. It has two kitchens, 5 bars, 8 different event rooms and it has helped put downtown Pomona on the Map. We appreciate you being here today and we hope you would consider us for your next event.

We invite you to joint us for Lunch, Happy Hour or Dinner and Stay for the Entertainment.
